The Absolute Best Chicken Lasagna Recipe.

This recipe has become an all time family favorite ever since my sister gave me the recipe. When she first gave me the recipe, I was a little hesitant to try it, mainly because I wasn’t a big fan of lasagna, let alone one with chicken in it. A few years ago, my son and I made a trip up to Montana to visit her and her family for Easter, and she made this for us. I have to say, I was blown away at how good it was, and how easy it was to make, for a lasagna...lol. I fixed it for my husband one of the times he was home on his home time, and he absolutely loved it. It’s become one of those recipes I save for special occasions, or gatherings with friends. So far I haven’t gotten a single complaint when I make it, even from my picky kids…lol.
Chicken Lasagna
9 Lasagna Noodles
1 can Cream of Celery
1 can Cream of Chicken
16 oz. Sour Cream
1 bag Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Salt
4 Chicken Breasts (small)
8 oz. Shredded Cheese (I use Colby/Jack)

Preheat oven to 350°. Boil chicken, then cut into small pieces. Prepare lasagna noodles as directed on box. Combine remaining ingredients (except the 8 oz. shredded Colby/Jack cheese) in a large saucepan. Cook until blended, then add chicken. Layer in an 9”x13” casserole dish. I spray the dish with some non stick spray first. Start with a layer of lasagna noodles, then spread some chicken sauce, and finally sprinkle with some cheese. Repeat two more times. Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Let stand for a few minutes before serving. I like to serve this with some garlic bread.

Enjoy!

Yummy!

  3. Another one from sits here. I'm not always keen on chicken so had to pop over and check out your recipe as I was intrigued. This looks so yummy! I shall be adding it to my list of recipes I want to make. Looks like a real comforting recipe for a cold winters evening. My Hubby isn't a chicken lover but I reckon I could win him over with this.

    Thanks for sharing
